Kuhara Mining's Tokyo Tsukudajima Machinery Company was established in Tsukudajima, Tokyo.
5HP electric motor completed at repair shop in Kuhara Mining's Hitachi Mine. New factory built in Miyata Shibauchi, Hitachi Village and Hitachi is founded.
Separated from Kuhara Mining along with Hitachi Works. Hitachi, Ltd. Kameido Works established.
