In April 2023, Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) announced the company name of Sullair was changing to Hitachi Global Air Power (HGAP). Following this news, Compressed Air Best Practices, a well-known North American air compressor industry publication, interviewed Charlie Takeuchi, President and CEO of HIES, and John Randall, President and CEO of Hitachi Global Air Power.
In the Compressed Air Best Practices article, the two executives discuss the strategic objectives of establishing Hitachi Global Air Power, synergies between HIES and HGAP, and their desire to provide reliable solutions to customers worldwide. HGAP will continue to invest in technologies that help customers improve efficiencies and achieve sustainability goals.
“We want to support our customers and provide them with green products and solutions,” said Mr. Takeuchi.
HIES and HGAP will work together to provide customers with more sustainable products through the HIES 5Rs, or Reman, Rebuild, Repair, Reuse and Recycle, to minimize the use of virgin materials.
HIES is a leading global provider of electric and industrial products and solutions, including air compressors, coding and marking systems, transformers, hoist systems, inverters and more.
